We Get Grant Dollars That Others Miss!

Grantmasters has an 86% success rate. Over the last nine years we have written successful grant awards in excess of $5.8 million dollars. Grantmasters has the practical experience that other grant writers lack; we are firefighters with over 80 years combined experience. We are Chiefs, line officers, firefighters, and administrative officers. Over the years we have initiated, funded, and managed projects leading to purchases of apparatus, PPE, firefighting equipment, and facilities modifications. We have been responsible for these projects, and most importantly the use of this equipment. In addition to experiences in our own fire stations, we have helped our customers complete their grant awarded projects from specifications and bidding to final closeout paperwork. These ongoing projects and experiences allow us to see the "big picture" when it comes to funding grant projects.

We are a small group concentrating on service, follow through and ultimately grant funded projects for a select number of fire departments. Other consultants might promise lower prices but the lowered cost is usually reflective of their experiences with the program or the volume of applications they are submitting. People who write grants "in their spare time" or with a high volume - low cost business model rarely have the time to offer the level of service we regularly provide. How much time do they really have to invest in listening to your needs as well as those of your department and community? These are all critical issues that we take seriously. We are not the biggest or the cheapest but we can assure you that you will receive top quality service and ownership in your application from our initial meeting all the way to your closeout documents.

Well thought out and properly communicated projects, which meet funding priorities, are the ones that get awards. Funding priorities change every year; just because it worked for a neighboring department last year or the year before does not mean it will work for you this year. Matching your needs with current funding priorities is what enables repeated success. All of our projects start with a needs assessment and project development. Tell us what you need, why you don't have it, and what circumstances have prevented you from fulfilling these needs. Once we understand how your needs relate to your daily operational shortcomings and how this situation might be reflected in NFPA or OSHA regulations, we can get to work.
